Three new videos have been posted online to save lives at work.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has created a series of short clips, which aim to show good practice for managing common injury risks.

They focus on three key risks in the manufacturing industry, which have high associated injury rates.

The first film includes advices on the dangers of cutting, grinding or welding fuel and chemical containers. 

The second focuses on effectively isolating machinery, to ensure it does not start up accidently during maintenance, servicing or cleaning. 

The final film is about selecting and fitting the right type of guards on machinery to protect workers operating, cleaning or servicing machines. 

WorkSafe Queensland’s YouTube channel also has ongoing features to help workers and businesses nationwide take the best approach to safety.
