An exciting opportunity exists at Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) for a motivated and passionate WHS Consultant to join a purpose driven team and make a real impact in the organisation health and wellbeing.

Remuneration: $2,034.21 - $2,400.24 per week

What you'll be doing

As a WHS Consultant, you will enjoy a varied and challenging role while working alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team. You will develop and implement key strategic and operational initiatives, WHS policies and procedure as well as provide expert advice in the development of audits and accreditation plans. You will also play a vital role in the delivery and assessment of WHS training for managers and others across all NSLHD services.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Qualifications in WHS or equivalent experience.
  2. Outline your experience in developing and implementing WHS related documentation, such as policies and procedures and the development and delivery of WHS training packages.
  3. Outline your experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating WHS management systems and programs and how you have developed relationships and influenced change in a large organisation.
  4. Outline your WHS knowledge and expertise in relation to the gathering, generation and analysis of WHS data/information to convey complex information and your proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs.
