National safety groups will soon host a forum to raise awareness about workplace sexual harassment risks.

The Workplace Sexual Harassment National Forum will be held on 11-12 November 2021 as part of the Australian Government’s response to the Respect@Work Sexual Harassment National Inquiry Report.

Attorney-General and Minister for Industrial Relations Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash will open the national event, joining keynote speaker Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins and presenter Michelle Baxter, CEO at Safe Work Australia.

The national event aims to facilitate a nationally consistent understanding of workplace sexual harassment to ensure employers, workers and regulators play their part in achieving the forum’s theme of influencing positive change.
