Queensland safety watchdog to crack down on scaffolding compliance
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has announced it will conduct a state-wide scaffolding compliance blitz starting this month.
The watchdog has announced its inspectors will be targeting compliance of swing stage scaffold erection, while looking for evidence that users meet the revised training requirements.
Inspectors will be ensuring that users and employers comply with the January changes that saw a number of alterations made by the national harmonisation process.
