SafeWork SA protects itself
SafeWork SA has shut its public offices.
South Australia’s workplace safety regulator says it is closing its Customer Service Front Counters until further notice.
“The health and wellbeing of the public and our staff are our priority and safety is the core of our business,” SafeWork SA said in a statement.
“As a precautionary measure, we have made the decision to minimise face-to-face contact.
“We will continue to be available via phone and email.
“There are no known cases or exposure of COVID-19 at SafeWork SA.
“Critical and emergency incidents will be dealt with as a priority and there may be delays to other general enquiries and requests.”
Additionally, SafeWork SA regional offices will no longer be open for customer service to the public until further notice.
