Business Systems Coordinator

 

  • $117,386 per annum + superannuation
  • Full Time, Fixed term position (Until 30/06/26)
  • Geelong (Hybrid working model – 3 days per week in the office)

Purpose

Within a cross-functional team, the Business Systems Coordinator, Return to Work Victoria (RTWV) plays a key role in managing and improving WorkSafe’s technical inbound and outbound communications and online invoicing solutions that enable efficient claims and premium management.  These solutions are delivered by external delivery partners.

With a particular focus on managing the outbound communications and online invoicing solutions, the role ensures effective operational delivery and continuous improvement.  As well as strong technical capability, this role involves vendor management and engagement with business users, including WorkSafe’s Agents that rely on these services to deliver the day to day management of claims and premium activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business technical lead accountable for ongoing service delivery, incident management, rectification of internal and Agent escalated issues
  • Lead identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to the usability of the business systems, communications and applications.
  • Develop business requirements and lead the implementation process, including stakeholder engagement across WorkSafe business units and Agent networks.
  • Conduct complex data analysis to create technical reports which outline vendor performance against contractual key performance indicators.
  • Provide specialist subject matter expertise to RTWV, Agents, WorkSafe technical specialists and the delivery partners
  • Undertake Service Level Agreement audits assessments and support the governance process, including meeting frameworks.

About you

You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills, along with ability to engage with stakeholders effectively. As someone who is passionate about customer service, you will also be client centric and a self-motivated team player.

You will also possess:

  • Solid systems experience and a good understanding of the application of legislation in an operational context.
  • Ability to set priorities and solve problems, and to communicate relevant updates and challenges to upper management.
  • Change Management experience in an operational environment will be favourable.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Victorian Government procurement processes and how government agencies operate will be favourable.
  • Knowledge of the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act and Premiums Orders and WorkSafe’s premium systems would be viewed favourably
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs - Outlook, Excel, Word and OneNote is required.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, technology or health and/or relevant vocational experience
