What does the job look like?
Linfox partners with leading mining companies, providing specialised logistics services across the country. As Injury Prevention and Management Advisor, you will be responsible for providing efficient, timely and accurate coordination of Return to Work & Health and Wellbeing programs for Linfox Resources and Industrial West employees. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and achieving optimal injury management outcomes. Key areas:
- Foster a culture of safety and a positive attitude towards injury prevention and management
- Coordinate early intervention practices and return to work program
- Coaching frontline leaders and workers to develop safety capability and injury management solutions
- Support injured workers and their leaders, including coordinating meaningful and suitable recovery at work and monitoring progress through communications with treating medical professionals
- Consult with Injury Management and Claims Advisors regarding injured workers and their progress
- Reporting related to return-to-work program performance and injury trends, and analysing the information to implement measures to create a safer workplace
Are you the one?
To be successful in this role, you are passionate about promoting health and wellbeing within the workplace and supporting injured team members through their recovery journey. You can demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or similar
- Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Strong administration, time management and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy when interacting with stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management and people skills
- Act with integrity representing Linfox in an honest, ethical and professional manner
